Hellow!! Good day!! We are the parents of kinder class of Sta. Rosa Elem. School under Ms. Stephanie Salvador and former teacher Ms.Levy Malicad. We would like to know if its right for these teachers to collect from us a registration in the amount of Php150.00 and a monthly fee of Php 50.00 plus books which is compulsary to pay in the amount of almost Php 1,000.00 pesos. When we had a meeting they discussed to us but these two teachers did'nt allow us to willing decide the amount which everyone of us can afford to.. Please make an investigation to these. Some of the parents were already paid the said amount because they keep on reminding us to pay the said amount. Thank you very much and we are looking for your immediate action.

I went to school here and graduated in 1975. Best memories-great teachers, being a member of the choir that represented Ilocos Norte in the song competition in La Union and member of the great Rondalla band-both led by Miss Domingo. Aloha from Hawaii.

Hello, I am Constantino 'Tante' Gaoiran dela Cruz. I am speaking on behalf of the Officers and members of Cabeza Elementary School Alumni & Friends, USA, based in Waipahu, Hawaii. Cabeza Elementary School is the present name of Zamboanga Elementary School situated in Brgy Cabungaan North in Laoag City, Philippines. The school was so named Zamboanga because its buildings were built in Brgy Zamboanga, Laoag City. Soon before WWII the buildings were moved to Brgy Bengcag but remained Zamboanga Elementary School. After WWII the buildings were then built across the highway in Cabungaan North and ramained Zamboanga Elementary School. In the mid-1990's a name change took effect to take the combined names of the barangays the school serves, Zamboanga, Cabungaan North & South, and Bengcag. Not only does Cabeza mean CAbungaan North & South, BEngcag, and ZAmboanga. In 2007 a group of Zamboanga/Cabeza Elementary School alumni started a memento organization to support the School back home. The first Association president was Constantino dela Cruz and served for 2 consecutive terms. During his presidency, the Association was able to donate audio-visual aids for every classroom, dictionaries, rice cooker and sewing machine for the Home Economics building. copier for the Office and encyclopedia sets for the Library, Overhead projectors and DVD players with monitors, and much, much, more. With the ongoing effort to help the School, fund raising endeavors are held each year, including Christmas caroling during the Holidays. A list of present and future needs of the school are on the Principal's list of desired itemss. If anybody out there who went to Cabeza (Zamboanga), feel free to call Tante dela Cruz at (808) 220-9616 or email me at tantedelacruz@hawaiiantel.net.
